Natural England and the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) have produced Ecological Network Guidance to guide the work of the Finding Sanctuary Steering Group and the other regional MCZ project stakeholder groups.
The guidance is Natural England’s and the JNCC’s statutory advice on what is required to meet the Government’s UK Marine Protected Area network design principles, and the objectives for the selection of individual Marine Conservation Zones. It will provide the basis on which Government expects the regional stakeholder groups to develop their recommendations.
