Final Ecological Network Guidance published

Natural England and the JNCC have published the final verson of the Ecological Network Guidance.

The guidance is Natural England’s and the JNCC’s statutory advice on what is required to meet the Government’s UK Marine Protected Area network design principles, and the objectives for the selection of individual Marine Conservation Zones. It will used by Finding Sanctuary and the three other regional MCZ projects to plan Marine Conservation Zones over the coming months in order to create a network of Marine Protected Areas.
